Our Vision

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
— John 20:31

Our vision is to be Gospel-centered in everything (John 20:31). The single most important call of the church is to worship the one, true, living God and His Son Jesus whom He sent (John 17:3) as the Gospel of free grace converts unbelievers and edifies believers alike to the beauty and majesty of God. The life of our church is all about Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

We are a congregation of the Korean American Presbyterian Church and are rooted in the Reformed faith, which pulls together the most significant doctrines taught in the Bible. These doctrines are set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. Our beliefs are broken down into the five following essentials:

The Bible is God’s Word.

Salvation is a Gift.

We receive the Gift through Faith Alone.

Jesus is the One Who Saves.

We Live for the Glory of God Alone.

Ultimately, we believe that the entire Bible points us to One Savior, Jesus Christ. When we live for Him by the power of the Holy Spirit, only then may we live a truly fruitful and God-glorifying life. To be reformed means to be all about Jesus Christ.

Core Values

Christ-Centered

Centering the church on Christ

Colossians 1:18 "Christ is also the head of the church , which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything”

Biblical Authority

Obeying God’s Word

2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we
are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."

Worship

Worshiping God in spirit & truth

John 4:24 "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Missional Faith

Living a missional, and bold faith for the Gospel

Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now all glory
to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ
Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen."
